Something For Everyone

EDEN PROJECT

WHCA took 23 senior citizens and 4 carers on a three day trip to Cornwall to visit the Eden Project. We went on the 26th March and returned on the 28th March 2007. The party included people from West Hampstead Community Association, Kingsgate Community Centre, Feltham Community Association, Church and West Hampstead public.

We had a great driver Mike and our coach hired from our excellent supplier: Club Cantabrica Coach/Air Holidays Ltd. Tel: 01923 247444 - speak to Karen.

We stayed at a great hotel in Newquay with a great nutty/helpful/friendly bunch of staff providing great entertainment: The Trevone Hotel. Tel: 01637 851101.

The whole project was funded by the National Lottery grant section "Awards for all" and West Hampstead Community Association management/organisation.

We send our thanks to Awards for All and all involved in making this such a success.

We send our thanks to all at one of the greatest modern wonders of the world The Eden Project: Box Office 01725 811900

On the way back we were able to drop into the Ottery Nurseries at Otter St. Mary's just outside Honiton. Taking this route we were able to later see Stonehenge.

A fabulous time was had by everyone. We are producing picture CD's and Movie DVD's and below start a photo library:
